There are at least six greenhouse gases that have been dangerous to human survival and the entire of the earth because of climate change -including carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane, sulfur hexa-fluoride, HFCs, and PFCs. That’s why in December 1997, a legal binding agreement was negotiated in Kyoto –Japan (renown as The Kyoto Protocol Treaty) in order to regulate about reducing emission of greenhouse gases (especially in industrialized countries such as America, Japan, England, Netherlands, etc).
In December 3rd to 15th, 2008, Indonesian government hosted the thirteenth United Nations Climate Change Conference on the island of Bali, including Ratification of the Kyoto Protocol. As one of the Result of Conference, all countries must agree a shared vision for long-term cooperative action due to Climate Change Issue, including a long-term global goal for emission reductions, to achieve the ultimate objective of the Convention.
Along with climate change issue, In 2007 China also began to plow about USD 3 billion in taxes raised from the country’s trading in carbon emissions into a new state-owned fund that supports emissions-reducing ventures.
